Who say's kids should have all the fun? Mermaiding is fun, gives you a great workout and you'll get to meet other like minded people. Our experiences take place will take place in a swimming pool with a qualified Mermaid Instructor. If it's your first mermaid session we'll teach you the safety mermaid skills. After that you'll work through. You'll then work through out 4 level stages each with 12 modules. Entry and Exits Obstacles Tricks Underwater Swims Partner Work Group Routines Trident Throwing Ribbon Work Poses Rotation Speed Swim Little mermaid recreation As you work through the 4 stage levels these 12 modules get progressively harder. When you achieve all the modules in a stage they will be presented with a wrist band to celebrate their achievement. the basic mermaid movements, partake in mermaid games and challenges and take a few photos or videos to help capture the memory. All equipment including monofins and tails are provided by Mermaids Scotland. Participants must be able to pass the Mermaids Scotland swim test.

In the event of a Swim Test fail no refund will be given. Participants will be offered a land photo as a mermaid and the opportunity to participate as a human in the lesson. For any cancellations, with more than a weeks notice given of the experience or lesson, the customer may have a refund on any monies paid minus a £5 administration charge per participant or 1 reschedule to an alternative available date. For any cancellations, with less than a weeks notice given of the experience or lesson, the customer may receive a 50% refund. For any non attended lessons no refund will be issued. The participants must be aware that Mermaids Scotland is not liable for any accidents, injuries or claims caused by the action of any participant within the experience. It is the parent/carers responsibility to maintain their child’s safety both prior to and after the experience. Mermaids Scotland have the right to remove or refuse a participant without a refund if they are disrespectful towards other participants/instructors, show blatant disregard to directions or shows signs of being a threat to the safety of themselves or other participants within the experience. If photo and video permission is given Mermaids Scotland have permission to take photos/ videos of the participant during their experience. All images and prints shall constitute the property of the organiser. The use and reproduction of said photos may include website, advertising, marketing and social media by the organiser. Photos and videos may be used by the organiser or anyone authorised by them without compensation. For an admin fee of £5 cash we can arrange for photos and images can be shared only to you instead of the group sessions drop box folder.
